One of my favorite stories about Castro Valley is some bootleggers used chicken farms to cover up the smell of making moonshine, hence we have a interesting and colorful past and fame for Chicken Farms. I embraced this chicken farm in our theme to be radically funny and light hearted about the fact we are famous for chickens. Most people who want to identify with a strong character or animal like a Cougar or Eagle for a sports team or city. We identify with chickens and roosters. Sigh. Hard to be a tough football team with a chicken on our uniforms. “…Here comes the Castro Valley Chickens” Funny. But just like our Rodeo is tough enough to were pink, we are tough enough to wear roosters and chickens. We aim to be light hearted and report the good things in life about Castro Valley, poignant news that enriches our understanding about CV. The website is the most advanced website Castro Valley has ever scene, or USA has to that fact. A automated self producing news at epic proportions. Not even major media can produce.
Where it’s your news. You report it. We follow CV happenings. We cover 2 stories a month. Restrictions apply. We can not afford to cover everything, so we choose restaurants, events and entertainment. This has been a goal of mine for a long time, but I needed funding for the initial cost. Robert Pace Real Estate a friend and client offered the seed funds to make this happen.
Castro Valley Vibe is a reflection of what I learned growing up with my dads magazine, ‘Entertainment East Magazine’ a dinning and nightlife guide, every year he would have the ‘Johnny Awards’ for people behind the scenes in the Entertainment business. CVVibe is a digital reflection of his magazine and the ‘Spirit Of The People’ are a reflection of his ‘Johnny Awards’. Covid held us back from having a ceremonial event but have honored the best of Castro Valley.
We will cover Castro Valley good vibe Businesses and venues that are with in our 'Life Style Magazine' subject matter. Join our email list and you have a monthly chance to win a news story nominee vote. To choose us to cover a Castro Valley Business, maybe even your own that has a good vibe about Castro Valley.
2002: The 'Life Style Magazine' concept began with Girlpages bringing a niche community of women together in a directory on one website. The initiative was based on promoting small businesswomen to meet the Small Business Administration diversity goals.
2007 Google created 'MyMaps' where we added our directory.
2010: With Facebook's help, I separated the niche community of women into time zone areas to combine and promote local events along with women-owned businesses on a worldwide stage. Girlpages Network was re-developed and launched. I grew a following that reached over 100K monthly views. Facebook allowed automatic posting to a website, combining a world of niche groups of women in one logical place with current information. Each page had its own Facebook, such as NorCal, SoCal, West, East, Central, Travel, etc. However, only content from the relevant area would be posted to that Facebook page. Also based on my dads Magazine Entertainment East Magazine' including awarding and recognizing people behind the scenes.
2013: Plugin technology advancements radically improved the concept. Technological advancements made it possible to transition into an additional APP, where 8+ Facebook accounts could be intertwined in one news feed. This meant that not only was our content posted on the page, but also content from other small businesses we subscribed to.
2012: We noticed the beginning of our Facebook content being suppressed, or what is now considered ghosting, particularly targeting the LGBTQ community.
2013: Castro Valley Vibe's 1st franchise lifestyle news concept was launched under 'CVLifestyles.com' with Stacy Coppola. Our first post was on October 17, 2013. It was Castro Valley's first social media lifestyle magazine and news platform.
2014: CVLifestyles logo was designed in January 2014 and was redesigned three times. However, the client decided not to continue the concept and focused on real estate instead. The concept moved to a new name, which was changed to CastroValleyVibe.
2016: Technology radically changed television, and I experimented with Castro Valley Moose Lodge, creating menu boards for the Ice Creamery and El Brito local. I was eager to produce my own show that combined everything but decided not to proceed without funding.
2019: CastroValleyVibe.com was born. Robert Pace agreed to fund the website and lifestyle magazine. The combination of social media, television, a website, and an app was applied to one location, Castro Valley, CA. Hyper-targeted social media combined with a self-adjusting news feed and local TV programming made it the most advanced digital city in the world.
The app was built launched November 2017.
We 100% support the Castro Valley Forum. Castro Valley TV and Castro Valley Patch. We all have our place and space in media. We will be the first APP of it’s kind for CV.
Our method, pricing and rules may change or be adjust with how this goes since this is the first ever community feed and app in the universe.
If we are somehow following you, and find what you post to be too offensive or negative we reserve the right to unfollow you and refuse your ADs.
Sincerely Stacy Poulos / Founder / APP Developer

Phil is new to the team. He has typing and spelling challenges. He's working with Rooster Toes and He's British.
It's a dream come true to be able to afford to just go crazy with your ideas. I created 'Phil' to be a mascot. I wanted to be radically funny. Being someone who studied film and animation. It super fun to build a charter around the different segment shows I want on CVVibe. Here are some of the beginning sketches of "Phil Hemingway" Produced, Directed and Created by Stacy Poulos. Illustrated by Joseph Aubrey. Joseph has dose a fantastic job bring Phil to fruition and is happy to illustrate all my nutty ideas. Of course as I work to get bigger budgets Phil will be limitedly animated.. He also has a great voice. Of course all these things cost money.
